For greatest accuracy, have
someone else take your measurements, preferably a professional.
Your bust measurement is the most important in determining
your gown size. Here's how to measure:
Height: Stand barefoot against a wall. Place a stiff
paper across the top of your head and mark the spot.
Measure from marked spot to the floor.
Bust: Wear the exact bra (or bra of
similar style) that you intend to wear under your dress.
Then, with your arms by your side, have someone else
measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Bra/Cup: Give us your normal bra and
cup size.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest
part of your relaxed waist - one inch above your navel.
Hips: Measure around fullest part,
around 7 - 9 inches below your waist.
PLEASE NOTE: Bridesmaid manufacturers
DO NOT offer standard sizing. Most bridesmaid dresses
run smaller than normal clothes. Your measurements are
used along with a size chart to help determine the best
size for you. Dresses are NOT made to your measurements
and in most cases alterations are necessary. Alterations
are not included in the price. The size chosen
is ultimately your decision.
If your measurements are between sizes, we recommend
that you order the larger size, as it is easier to take
a gown in than to let it out.
